Denny's

Denny's veggie burger and fit fare omelet!

The best veggie burger any chain restaurant has....that is all haha

As for the omelet...although I did not eat this specific omelet I've had one before and it isn't the best tasting things in the world but you do have to sacrifice some taste to be healthy.
And it isn't something a little tabasco can't make better :)

Rockstar Fruit Punch

Second post in a row about Rockstar...I know I have a problem haha
Fruit punch has to be my favorite flavor because it taste exactly like what it promotes, fruit punch. It's also carbonated so it's more like Shasta Tiki Punch but with a jolt energy!

Rockstar Energy Drink

I like to think of myself as an energy drink fanatic. I've tasted numerous kinds of energy drinks but the one brand I always run back to is Rockstar.
This specific flavor is the strawberry 12 ounce can.
Backstory on this flavor was that they specifically marketed this flavor to women and even added a straw to show their "classiness" haha
I thought of this strategy more unclassy than anything but doesn't exclude the fact that this is a great tasting, low calorie, and low sugar energy drink that will definitely perk up your day.

Yen Sushi

If you haven't yet been to second street at Belmont Shore I definitely suggest you go. This place is thriving with culture and GREAT food.
Yen Sushi.
I have this thing where I judge the a sushi place overall by their Crunch Roll (bottom). It never seems to fail because Yen's Crunch Roll can only be described as the freshest sushi I've ever had. Now it can't really compare to great tasting sushi that's artificial because it's a different taste but this is still none the less amazing. On top is a chef's special, The Yoda Roll. It contains calamari with fresh vegetables on the inside with avocado crunch flakes and their signature sauce. This roll was okay. It wasn't spectacular but definitely still just as fresh as the previous.
As an appetizer we had the deep fried Tofu Steak with their sesame sauce. I wanted to try something new but i definitely didn't have any high expectations, but this was great. I wished I had more. The texture of the tofu was weirdly un-tofu-like and more like softer sticky rice. But what made it was the sauce. The sauce was sweet and had a nice sesame flavor.
The final roll was the Snow Corn Roll. This was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Eel, fresh vegetables, and avocado in the middle with baked white fish, smelt eggs, and a light mayo on top. Best dish of the night by far.

Yen sushi does not sacrifice fresh ingridients and is definately worth a visit.
